San Antonio, Texas

On our first day exploring, we went to a farmers market, next to the famous River Walk.

The river walk is much longer than I expected. There is a downtown portion where there are wall-to-wall restaurants and then this part that wonders through the industrial part of town.

There is an abundance of art ...

-... the whimsical ...

... and interesting places to explore.

I was impressed with the landscape maintenance.
Hats off to San Antonio city government.

Time for lunch. Troy took us to the largest Tex-Mex restaurant I've ever seen called Mi Tierra Cafe & Bakery.  This place is so good it's open 24 hours a day because Mexican breakfast is very popular and the Margaritas aren't bad either.

The kids loved exploring the Mexican market next door.

Barbara bought some colorful frogs which now reside in our fountain. They love their new home.

After a long nap it was time for family game night ...

... and yoga lessons.
