On our first day exploring, we went to a farmers market, next to the famous River Walk. |

The river walk is much longer than I expected. There is a downtown portion where there are wall-to-wall restaurants and then this part that wonders through the industrial part of town. |

Time for lunch. Troy took us to the largest Tex-Mex restaurant I've ever seen called Mi Tierra Cafe & Bakery. This place is so good it's open 24 hours a day because Mexican breakfast is very popular and the Margaritas aren't bad either. |

Barbara bought some colorful frogs which now reside in our fountain. They love their new home. |

After a long nap it was time for family game night ... |
